Each bead is totally hand-made from branches of the ancient Olive Trees of Bethlehem the Holy Land. Using a very simple carving hand tool a  bead carver can carve around 500 beads a day but from there comes the second process of polishing the beads one by one in an old traditional secret way. It takes 10 different stages before each bead is complete. Both men and women work on the beads before they are ready to be used by those of high taste for hand-crafted hard to find & hard to make Bethlehem olive wood beads.
