Thousands
of people came to hear Jesus. They were hungry,
spiritually, and He fed them. But as it started to
get late, they got hungry, physically, too, and He
fed them again.
The picture
above is in the church which traditionally has been
said to be the rocks where Jesus performed this
miracle. The mosaic floor reminds us of the literal
loaves and fishes which were produced that day.
"Taking the five loaves
and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks
and broke the loaves...He also divided the two fish among
them all...They all ate and were satisfied..." Mark 6:41-42
